CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AND LIFELINE CHICAGO CONTINUE THEIR SUPPORT FOR JOVAN JOVANOVIĆ ZMAJ ORPHANAGE

Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the Patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, proudly continues its ongoing support for The Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Orphanage thanks to a generous donation that has significantly improved the daily lives of the children and staff.

Thanks to a generous contribution from The Three Kolo Group of Serbian Sisters (St. George of Joliet, Illinois, Knjeginja Zorka of Lansing, Illinois, and St. Archangel Michael of Lansing, Illinois) the orphanage has received a new professional grade washing machine.

With more than 60 children in care at this facility, and previously only one working washing machine, it was extremely difficult to keep up with the daily washing of clothes, towels, and bed linens. Laundry accumulated quickly, often requiring hours of continuous work, and placing a heavy burden on staff and the one existing machine.

The addition of this new professional grade washing machine has greatly eased these challenges. Daily operations are now incredibly more efficient. The addition of this new washing machine has significantly improved daily life for both the children and staff and has ensured that the children have clean clothing and bed linens in due time.

The orphanage expressed its deep gratitude for this valuable donation, which has made a tangible difference for all. Lifeline Chicago remains committed to supporting vulnerable children and strengthening and assisting institutions that provide them with care, stability, and hope.
