CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AND LIFELINE CHICAGO ASSIST ZVECANSKA CENTER FOR CHILDREN
26 Dec 2025

Another significant project has been successfully completed at the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth “Zvecanska” in Belgrade, further improving the living conditions of children without parental care.
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, in cooperation with The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in Belgrade, continues its long-standing mission of providing assistance and support to children without parental care in Serbia and Republika Srpska. These organizations continuously contribute to the improvement of everyday living conditions and the well-being of the most vulnerable children.
As part of this project, the fifth girls’ wing of the Center received brand new doors, significantly enhancing safety, privacy, and overall quality of life. The donation included the installation of new doors in four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and at two entrances.
This project was made possible by a generous donation from Gary and Charlene Stanich, through Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, and represents yet another valuable example of humanitarian support provided to the Zvecanska Center, reaffirming the commitment of donors and cooperating organizations to helping those most in need.
