Humanitarian Lunch in Aid of Children Hospitals at The White Palace

Belgrade, 9 October 2017 – After the wedding of their son Prince Philip, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine organized a humanitarian lunch at the White Palace in aid of children hospitals in Serbia.

“My husband Crown Prince Alexander and I have been helping our health system and hospitals for 25 years, with a focus on children hospitals and help to children. Needs in hospitals in Serbia are great and all the help is welcome. I am very happy that International schools, banks and individuals, as well as representatives of Lifeline offices, have responded to our appeal. I would like to inform you that we will donate 4 hospital sterilizers worth 1.5 USD in total in the future. These machines will be donated to hospitals in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin i Kraljevo. In addition, we have donated a digital mammography machine worth 30,000 USD to Clinical Center in Nis. I hope that we will be able to help another children hospital after this event” said Crown Princess Katherine.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander, representatives of Lifeline offices Chicago, New York, Toronto, United Kingdom that work under auspices of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, as well as Mr Ed Wayne director of “Bridge of Life” Foundation also addressed the participants. Children choir of British International School, pianist Andjela Dinic and violinist Jovana Savic performed at the event.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine would like to thank all the schools, companies and individuals who contributed that children hospitals get new equipment and consequently improve care of their youngest patients.
