CROWN PRINCESS KATHARINE FOUNDATION AND LIFELINE CANADA HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION HELP HOME FOR ELDERLY “VOZDOVAC”

Belgrade, 23 June, 2017 – Her Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Katherine delivered a donation to the “Vozdovac” home for elderly within the Gerontology Center Belgrade. The delivery was also attended by Mr. Ivan Jezdic, manager of the “Vozdovac” Home, Mrs. Georgina Kirali, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee and her husband, Mr. Richard Sereda from Lifeline Canada Humanitarian Organization (http://www.lifeline-canada.org).

The funds for the purchase of 40 hospital beds, mattresses, beddings, linen, towels, food and diapers were raised at a charity event “Tea at the Tower” in Ontario, Canada.

“My husband, Crown Prince Alexander and I, are glad to help your Home as much as we can, through humanitarian events”, said Crown Princess Katherine in her address.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Lifeline Canada Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is Crown Princess Katherine, as well as with Mrs. Georgina Kiraly, the Chairman of the organizing committee and her husband, Mr. Richard Sereda. Funds raised were 18,400 euros.
