Lifeline's Current Key Activities Include:

Nurturing Children without Parents or Parental Care

Many children require shelter in either an orphanage or institution. We are seeking to address the emotional, physical, medical, recreational and educational needs of these children.

Reducing High Rate of Infant Mortality

Due to a lack of proper equipment in Serbia, newborns are placed in jeopardy. Currently only a small percentage of the maternity wards have been modernized—many more are in need of vital equipment.

Helping Children with Disabilities

Prosthetics and devices are needed to help these Serbian children become fully engaged in life.

Improving Quality of Health Care for Children

The medical equipment and training at the health centers which service Serbian children are in desperate need of updating.

Addressing High Rate of Breast Cancer

The current screening program in Serbia needs to be expanded to reach additional and under-served women. Mobile chemotherapy units are also required to help provide medical services to women who live in rural areas (most of the country).
